It’s a fun and hectic time of year for all, but there’s always time for you to reach a new goal at Polfit! Many are taking advantage of our upcoming mini-session that we hold every Christmas break. This year is scheduled for 12/13-12/24 and nearly filled up! Let us know if you’d like to join us for this session or reserve your spot for next year! Here are some of the latest achievements of our patients:
Cannon’s walking greatly improved in his last session at Polfit! He lengthened his stride in forward and side-steps. He also began sitting in a proper position when sitting on the floor with his legs extended in front of him and was able to balance on his own!
Jerry began taking steps this summer in the Spider Web at Polfit and has been increasing his number of steps each month in maintenance sessions. Last week he took 1500 steps in a row! That nearly triples the amount of steps just since October!
Brandon is making huge strides Polfit! Not only is he taking steps on his own in the Spider Wed, but he’s actually taking steps with resistance – forcing him to increase his muscle strength in his legs. His hip flexors are much looser too, allowing for longer strides.
Aadel increased his head control during his last intensive session. Mom also reports Aadel has been able to get into different positions easier including when he sleeps :o)
